Hi All
The changing of the season, the warming of the air, the appearance of green fields - I love this time of year!!!
Please set these dates aside as target dates for completing fitness, recruitment and preparations for the regular ORU Keenan and OWL season starts.
April 26th - Saracen Men 1/2 @ Oakville, Women looking to play a match on same day. No women's match, Oakville won both matches showing some spirit but we're still looking at improved player availability.

Saracens Welcome 2008 Women's Coach
Crideout, Thursday 27 March 2008 - 06:03:42 // Comments are turned off for this item, Trackbacks:
Hopefully see you all at the Bow this Saturday to both welcome Andy Ireland our new Women's Coach as well as register for the upcoming season.
Andy joins us from coaching the Cambridge Women's team to a win over Oxford this year. Having been part of Wasps during the inception of the professional era in rugby union he has much to offer our women's team to ensure they continue to build on their successes over the past few years. Welcome to Toronto, Andy - and welcome to the Toronto Saracens...

2008 Club Dues
Crideout, Friday 14 March 2008 - 20:14:21 // Comments are turned off for this item, Trackbacks:
This year sees a slight change in dues from last year, including a flow-through charge of $15 per person to cover the long term payout to Sean Corner for the next three years as well as offset referee costs.
Senior Men ---------------- $365
Senior Women ------------ $290
Student Men (19 yrs +)--- $265
Student Women ----------- $215
(19 yrs +)
Junior Men/Women (U-19) $175
Age Grade contact --------- $175
(U-14, U-12)
Age Grade non-contact ---- $125
(U-12, U-10)
Social Memberships --------$125
Notes -
1) This year's dues sees the Saracens see a contribution (after variable costs) toward fixed operating costs from all memberships, not just senior men and women. We are reviewing advertising, sponsorship and grant possibilities to assist reducing age grade and junior costs. If this is possible, we will rebate part-dues at the end of the fiscal year.
2) We would ideally like to see payment of dues in full before the season starts, since the club is already being held responsible for payment of dues, team registrations, etc... However, we do understand that occasionally members' cash flows can be a little tight - so we provide allowances for a pre-season payment of $200, with the payment of the balance to be coordinated with Rudi, our Treasurer.
3) We are encouraging everyone to get involved in recruiting by offering a rebate of $25 for each fully paid new senior player recruited into the club (paid once the year has ended). If you'd like to learn more about this, please speak to a member of the Executive.
