Junior, Youth and Mini's programmes

The Toronto Saracens senior men (3 sides) and senior women (2 sides) play in the highest level leagues in Ontario.
The club also runs Under 18 and Under 16 junior men's teams, Under 18 (and Under 16, if numbers permit) junior women's teams, Under 14 and Under 12 co-ed squad, as well as U12, U10 & U8 (minis) flag rugby programmes.
The Junior Men and Women's programmes start training, alongside the senior club players at Sunnybrook Park, starting in mid-May. This year, both groups have a team of very knowledgeable and dedicated coaches:
Junior Men and Women (U16 & U18) have a Facebook Group through which all information, photographs and schedules are communicated.

Supported by the Saracen Alumni, we're very pleased to have Dino Manoukas and Alf Scharlach continue to develop the U16 and U18 programmes in 2010.
Junior Men - U16 and U18
Alf Scharlach, a teacher who has built up the solid and recognized rugby programme at Leaside High School and who has coached and played with one of the top clubs in Ontario. [Email Address]
Din Manoukas, a physio specialist with many years with the Toronto and Aurora Barbs, has moved into toronto and is helping build the succesful Lawrence Park Jr rugby programme. [Email Address]
David Young and Jonathan Geisler, Saracen Alumni, as parents of a couple of U16 players, are assisting the programme while we identify someone to take on the role of team manager this year, to better assist the transition from school and our youth programme into our Junior and Senior programmes. Junior Women - U18
Emily White, also a Saracen, who is looking to put something back into the game and the club by helping younger players become introduced to the club and to develop through the club. [Email Address]

These squads are coached by Bill and Barb Di Nardo - Bill is a former Saracen 1st XV Captain and Club Captain, and Barb was a standout player on the Saracen Womens teams of the early 90's and represented Ontario. Bill - [Email Address] & Barb - [Email Address]
These squads will be training at Cameron PS & Willowdale MS in Willodale (Yonge & Sheppard area) on Mon & Fri evenings - 6:30-8:30pm starting, May 26th.
